Fingask castle in Perthshire has to be one of my favourite places to shoot weddings. It’s got lots of quirky charm, plus all the things you would expect from your classic Scottish wedding venue. It’s even got an amazing topiary garden surrounding the front of the castle which always adds to the photo opportunities.

Running up to the day I never got the chance to meet Aine and Tom in person before hand. However with the magic of the Internet and Skype all was solved. I met up with Aine and the girls earlier in the day while they started getting ready.

I then met up with our Groom to be Tom, who was with his dad and the groomsmen preforming a toast outside.

Ceremony time and one of the brilliant things about this venue was that you can get married inside or outside and thanks to the super dry start to summer that we had, we were able to the later.

Then off for some couples pictures around the grounds before heading back to get the all important family group shots.

Diner time and it was into the huge marquee tent for some food and speeches before gearing up for that all important cake cutting and dancing that was to come.

Brilliant weather, brilliant people, brilliant venue all in all a brilliant wedding.
