Earlier this year I had the amazing opportunity to shoot Francesca and Alistair’s wedding at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh.
The day started with a trip to The brides parents house right on the edge of the meadows in Edinburgh where I was greeted by the FOB who wondered if it wasn’t to late to cancel the photographer after seeing all my nice big shiny cameras… think he might have thought I was someone else.
It was great to see Francesca with her close family and friends getting ready in such a relaxed setting.
I then met up with the groom and his best man/ushers as they walked across the Meddows on route to the Sacred Heart Church, which looked a little like your standard church from the outside but once inside was truly massive and a great setting for there vows.
The guests were then bundled into vintage double decker buses waiting to taken them across Edinburgh to the botanics in style.
Everyone arrived to a champagne reception where we took the opportunity to grab a group shot of all the guests across from the Caledonian hall where diner was served after we sneaked away for some couple pictures.
I honestly don’t think could have asked for a better day, weather and of course couple.
