Rachel and Ryan are a transatlantic love story close to my own heart. Keeping things long distance for a long period of time is tough. I have been there myself. So I know just how much this day must have meant to them both and I was delighted to be asked to be their wedding photographer for the day.
Now if I had to make a list of my top wedding venues in Scotland to photograph, then the Charles Rene Mackintosh House for an Art Lover situated in the middle of Bellahouston Park in Glasgow would be very near the top of that list.
I have always loved Charles Rene Mackintosh and Art Neavou in general ever since being taken to Mackintosh’s hill house as a wee laddy. The building is filled with his trademark design inside and out. From the bright and airy music room to the darker more moody main hall . Everything from the light fittings to the custom made piano fits perfectly together. I think if you were looking for a stylish Scottish Wedding you would be hard pressed to find a better venue. Another great unknown feature to me was the transformation of the cafe bar area into a late night dance floor. So whether your wedding day is big or small there is plenty of options to customise the space to fit your needs.
