The Engine Works Glasgow, Wedding Photography

If you love industrial spaces, natural light and weddings that feel relaxed rather than overdone, The Engine Works Glasgow is hard to beat. Rebecca and Archie’s wedding here was effortlessly stylish, full of great energy – and featured an extremely adorable brown and white cockapoo called Harris, who completely stole the show.

The Engine Works is one of Glasgow’s most character-filled venues. Exposed brick, huge windows and raw industrial textures mean it looks incredible without much styling at all. From a photography point of view, the light is unreal and the space allows everything to flow naturally – perfect for couples who want their day to feel laid-back and fun.

Rebecca and Archie kept things simple and very them. The day was calm, joyful and full of genuine moments, with plenty of laughs and zero awkward posing. Their ceremony felt intimate and emotional, followed by relaxed drinks, mingling and lots of love from friends, family… and their four-legged guest.

Their cockapoo, Harris, was very much part of the day and added even more personality to an already brilliant wedding. The celebrations also featured a champagne tower, which fitted the industrial setting perfectly and made for some cracking moments. Dogs at weddings always bring something special, and this little legend was no exception.
